Lora M. Robins Library

Located in the Garden's Education and Library Complex, the Lora M. Robins Library is home to a collection of horticultural and botanical resources including:
- 7,000 titles in the areas of botany, horticulture, garden design, botanical illustration, natural history, conservation, flower arranging, and garden history. This includes books, videos, journals and children’s books.
- 2,500 original 19th century watercolor drawings of plants by Alexandre Descubes plus other botanical-themed art.
Library Basics
The Library is open from 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday and from 1 pm to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Any Garden visitor may use the Library and its materials; check-out of materials is limited to Garden members.

The Library offers the Hort Helpline as a free service. Call or e-mail the library (contact info above) with questions related to plant identification, selection, and maintenance.
The Library offers copy service at 10 cents per page for black ink, and 25 cents per page for color; limit 5 pages per day.
