Everybody loves a good story. Now imagine myriad stories, plus legends and rhymes, embellished with amazing creativity through a half-million holiday lights! During this year’s Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights, Naturally Ever After presents Stories in Lights: from fairy tales and folklore to time-treasured classics. Indoor and outdoor displays, family activities and holiday events spotlight tales that span cultures and time … explore natural phenomena … teach life lessons … celebrate the seasons … and ultimately, connect people through plants.

The live oak tree in Grace Arents Garden transformed into Shel Silverstein’s “Giving Tree” at this year’s Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights.

Tickets
A “rain or shine” event; only closed for extreme weather. Tickets are not date specific and may be purchased at the Garden (9 a.m. – 10 p.m.) or you may purchase tickets online.  Please note tickets ordered online have a convenience fee.

$13 adults
$11 seniors (age 55+)
$8 children (ages 3 – 12)
Free for children under age 3
$7: Garden members
$5: Child on Garden Membership (ages 3 – 17)

In order to accommodate groups and guests arriving early for GardenFest, we begin charging GardenFest admission at 4 p.m.

We will have a Pre-Purchased Ticket entry on select nights for people who have tickets on their phone or in hand for all in their party. This entry will be on nights with anticipated high visitation (Fridays, Saturdays and the week prior to Dec. 25). Our goal is to get you into the Garden as efficiently as possible so you can enjoy the show. Purchase online tickets. (Link coming soon).

GardenFest of Lights Illumination is Friday, November 24.

Member and Volunteer Nights (free admission for members and volunteers): Due to last year’s snow day, this year we have FIVE free Member Nights: Nov. 27, 28, 29, 30, 2017; and Jan. 8, 2018. Learn more about Garden Membership and member privileges, including special ticket pricing (it may be your best deal).
