The transformation

As an assistant butterfly curator in the house of butterflies aka  Butterflies LIVE!  I wear many hats. Sometimes I am a  gardener, teacher or butterfly body guard. The variety in my job lends to many interesting observations.  The hot, humid conditions are designed with the butterflies (not humans) in mind. I help people to understand they are a visitor in the butterflies home and to be a good visitor by being careful where they step. I love showing them all the amazing things going on, if they take the time to observe.

Look at what I saw on Saturday:  I imagine this caterpillar saying, “I hope someday I will be as beautiful as you!”
“Wow miracles do happen! I will be just as beautiful as you…..  now I am hanging with my peers.”
