Colorburst

Photos & text by Albert Brian Vick,  Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Community Kitchen Garden Coordinator

A peek at the 2012 edition of the secret garden… a shady spot illuminated by tropical color.

The underside of a discarded leaf from a Victoria Amazonica water lily… only slightly tweaked to enhance the natural tropical colors.

Victoria Amazonica leaf surfaces, resembling the surface of some planet in outer space, peppered by molten meteors and asteroids.
