*This class offers 1.25 hours of elective credit toward the Garden Education Series: Gardening and Garden Design Certificate.  Non-certificate students welcome.




About the instructor

Heather Veneziano is a passionate horticulturist and educator. She has over 15 years’ experience working in nonprofits and public gardens including Colonial Williamsburg and Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. Her focus is organic edible landscapes. She is currently the Youth Farm Grower at Girls for a Change where she tends to their organic garden and teaches middle school girls of color how to grow their own food and observe nature.
