Nerds for the Needy

by Albert Brian Vick  Community Kitchen Garden Coordinator,  Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

Hey, I can call them nerds because

a) that’s how they introduced themselves to me,  and

b) I’m a nerd.

A team from the DLA IT function came to the CKG on Saturday to WRK. Just having a little fun with the abbreviations. These folks work at the Defense Logistics Agency, and came prepared to brave a cold morning in the Lewis Ginter Community Kitchen Garden. It turned out to be a beautiful, mild morning, and the team accomplished a great deal of weeding and feeding.
