Toad camouflaging with the carpet!

toad 2toad 3With all the rain we’ve been having, it’s no surprise that we’ve had a few creatures trying to find shelter inside. Last week, a toad made its way to the Robins Visitor Center….where he blended perfectly with the carpet!

Luckily we had  a mother and daughter team who were willing to save the day  and set the toad free in the Asian Valley.  They are Members and Garden regulars, so we knew they’d be up to the task.

Special thanks to Visitor Services Coordinator Laura Mulligan for sharing the story and the photos, and to Garden Shop Assistant Steve Sawyer for catching the toad and providing the carrying box. And a very special thanks to our Member family, who saved the day!
