The first full day of Spring is Wednesday, March 20 and Lewis Ginter Ginter Botanical Garden has A Million Blooms waiting for you. The cherry blossoms (just like the ones in D.C., but closer!) peak mid-March, and other flowers including daffodils and tulips brighten the landscape in March and April. Peonies and irises continue the beauty in May, with roses blooming in late May. Plan your visit soon and follow the Garden’s social media for bloom alerts to make sure you don’t miss out.

A Million Blooms is the kick-off of the Garden’s Flourish: 40 Years & Growing anniversary activities. A helpful checklist of The Top 40 Things to Do at the Garden includes some “springtime-only” opportunities.
