Bites Around the World: Spain

Take your taste buds on a trip to Barcelona or Madrid at an end of summer evening tapas party. Executive Chef Anne Maury Haapala demonstrates how home chefs can incorporate seasonal ingredients and delicious Spanish flavors into mini dishes. She covers classic, tasty tapas recipes that can be easily mastered for your next party or family gathering. Demonstration is followed by a tapas dinner featuring some of the recipes demonstrated along with a glass of alcoholic or non-alcoholic sangria depending on your preference.

Chef Anne is the Executive Chef for the Garden’s caterer, Meriwether-Godsey. ¬†She has a degree in hospitality and tourism from Virginia Tech and studied Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina.
