with Chef Anne

Executive Chef Anne Maury Haapala helps you take the fear out of your holiday preparations by showing you how to entertain stylishly without stress. Anne demonstrates easy and delicious Thanksgiving dishes using seasonal ingredients to impress your friends and family, whether your group is 4 or 14. As a bonus, Meriwether-Godsey’s General Manager Susan Hicklin shows you stylish, elegant, yet simple ways to decorate for the big meal like a pro. The hour and a half demonstration is followed by a delectable lunch featuring some of the recipes discussed.

Chef Anne Maury Haapala

Chef Anne is the Executive Chef for the Garden’s caterer, Meriwether-Godsey.  She has a degree in hospitality and tourism from Virginia Tech and studied Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina.
