Spring Plant Sale is rain or shine and is held outside in Parking Lot B at the Garden! No admission fee required; regular Garden admission to visit the Garden

Friday, May 3 & Saturday, May 4; 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. 

The Garden’s plant sales are among the largest in the region with more than 40 vendors selling plants and other garden-related items.  Plus, this is a great chance to get all your gardening questions answered.
Presented by Garden volunteers. All proceeds benefit the Garden’s mission. Scroll down to see vendors and the list of plants that will be sold in the Ginter’s Greatest tent.

PlantFest Haul from the Members Only Plant Sale

  • The Plant Sale is located in Parking Lot B, with no admission fee. However, if you wish to visit the Garden, you must pay admission.
  • Be sure to visit the Garden Shop for outdoor pots and statuary, special gardening tools, books, and decorative accessories.  Members receive a 15% discount in the Garden Shop during the Plant Sale!
  • Fidos are welcome to attend the Plant Sale but are not allowed in the Garden.
  • Cash or checks are preferred. Ginter’s Greatest accepts credit cards. However, there will be a $5 credit card processing fee for purchases under $10. Not all vendors take credit cards.

Participating Spring Vendors:

Ginter’s Greatest (Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden) – Plants grown by LGBG volunteers. Signature “bilt” Geezer potting bench raffle

Richmond Horticulture Association – Trees; shrubs; and other garden items

Time For Sweets – Pre-packaged Baklava, a delicious Greek dessert

VA Extension of Forestry, VA State University – Field questions and provide information on urban and community forestry

Wandering Cow Farm – Natural soap and lotion; bath and body products; wool art; fused glass; insect repellents; and more
